Wild and Edible Plant Walk
Join Anna on her famous Wild and Edible Plant Walk on October 21st om 9 30 am to 12 30 am.
Learn to identify a wide range of wild and edible plants during our stroll into High Park?s forest, open meadow and watery habitats.
This 3 hours class will begin with a half-hour introductory class on plant identification at the Wholistic Care Center (2238 Dundas St. West unit 215, Toronto) followed by a walk in High Park.
You may bring a camera to take pictures of plants and a small notebook if you wish to draw them. We will focus on 15- 20 plants that grow in wild yet are edible and very nutritious.
Please, dress accordingly to weather and you may consider bringing a bug repellent if you are sensitive to mosquito bites.
In this 3 hour class, you will learn:
- how to recognize the edible plant
- how it can be consumed or prepared
- what medicinal properties it has
